Since its inauguration in April 1857 by Emperor Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, the Longchamp racecourse has been the place where all of 19th-century high society gathered. This is the first edition from 1965. There were subsequent reissues in 1970 and then again in 1986. It is one of the brand's most iconic scarves, regularly reissued. This is one of its finest versions, the most refined, where the details and beauty of the designs stand out against the white background, without any colored border. Good overall condition. Signs of age are evident in a slightly yellowed appearance, some marks and stains, visible in the photos. Highly prized by collectors, perfect for starting a collection.
